Summer Reading Assignment
scroll down for 7th & 8th grade
Incoming 6th Graders:
All of our incoming 6th graders should have received a copy of this book. If you didn't, please check with the front office, they should be able to supply you with one.*
Your summer assignment is to read this book, and create a "One Pager" about it. A One Pager is different from a traditional book report in that it allows for more creativity and a personal response to your reading. You can click on the document below to get more information on how to create a one pager. You can also look at the sample one pagers at the bottom of this page.
The one pager is due to your Language Arts teacher on the first or second day of school. You also need to return your copy of the book to your teacher.
*If you are unable to obtain a copy of this book, please read a novel of your choice, and when creating your one pager, please make sure to include the title and author.
Did you enjoy Elephant Run? You can explore the author's website here. And, if you're looking for some activities to extend your learning, click on this Elephant Run Student Pack. You are welcome to do any or all of the activities here.
